Shift Information

• Call Requirements: 10 call shifts per month (weekend and weeknight)

Unit Information

• Number of Operating Rooms: 8
• Monthly Case Volume: Approximately 575 cases
• Patient Population: Various surgical specialties including cardiac, orthopedic, gynecological, general surgery, urology, ENT, and plastics

Position Requirements

• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • NBSTSA and/or Certification as Scrub Tech (NCCT)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an inpatient, outpatient, community hospital, or level 2-3 trauma setting
• Skills:
  • Vascular experience required
  • Aseptic technique
  • General, orthopedic, urology, endoscopic, and robotic surgery

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with trauma cases
• Proficiency in operating DaVinci XI and Mako robots
• Experience with abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR)
