Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Surgical Technologist position available in the designated area of the organization. This role involves supporting cardiac surgery procedures by preparing supplies, equipment, and instrumentation, and assisting surgical teams throughout operations. The position requires on-site presence during scheduled shifts and adherence to established clinical and safety standards.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), NBSTSA certification, completion of a surgical technologist program, at least 2 years of experience as a cardiovascular operating room surgical technologist, travel experience, and ability to meet the needs of the customer through knowledge of surgical procedures.
• Schedule: Days shifts, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with start times at 06:30 and end at 17:00. Exact days determined upon arrival and unit needs. Call requirements are 11-12 shifts per month, which include weekend shifts.
• Additional Information: The candidate must live at least 100 miles away from the organization. Responsibilities include preparing supplies and equipment, assisting with surgical procedures, conducting instrument counts, and maintaining a secure and trusting environment respecting patient confidentiality and privacy. Position start date is 10/12/2026, with an end date of 01/09/2027.
