Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Chicago, IL. The role involves direct perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular OR, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include 1 year CVOR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. ACLS preferred; travel benefits and robust support are included with the assignment.

Qualificações

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including open and closed heart surgeries.
• Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and procedure.
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants; ensure function and availability.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the team to deliver coordinated care.
• Position patients safely; confirm identity, procedure, and site per Universal Protocol.
