Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a CVOR travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, SC. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS, and includes 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week.

Travel status with tax-free stipends may apply. As part of the CVOR team, you will circulate for cardiothoracic surgeries, ensure sterile technique, support the operating room workflow, and coordinate anesthesia and specimen handling.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel assignment in Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care to support surgeons and nurses.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Coordinate operating room activities and equipment readiness.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer prescribed medications.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens and documentation.
