Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Nashville, TN. The role involves direct and indirect patient care during cardiovascular procedures, collaboration with the surgical team, and ensuring sterile, ready OR environments.

Requirements include one year CVOR RN experience, valid TN RN license, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS and additional certifications may be required. Travel pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license in the state where the assignment is located.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare the CVOR in advance and ensure sterile, functional equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff for safe procedures.
• Position patients safely and assist with draping and exposure.
• Support post-surgical care and handoff to recovery staff.
• Follow Universal Protocol and timeouts to verify patient identity and procedure.
