Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a CVOR travel nurse in Austin, TX to provide professional care in the cardiovascular operating room. You will circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and assist the team, coordinating sterile technique and patient care from pre-op to post-op.

Candidates should have 3+ years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. Travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, day shifts, 10-hour shifts, travel employment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years acute care experience.
• Travel nursing assignment in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care as part of the surgical team.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.
• Support patient care before, during and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and staff to maintain sterile technique.
