Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CVOR-capable RN for a travel assignment in the Milwaukee area. The role requires 2 years of CVOR experience, WI or compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Nursys verification and primary source verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start. Responsibilities include working in the OR CVOR department, with 8- or 10-hour shifts, potential start time adjustments, and rotating on-call coverage including holidays.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate in an OR CVOR department setting.
• Adhere to M-F shifts: 8-hour (0650-1520) or 10-hour (0650-1650) based on case load.
• May shift start to 0600 for heart case scheduling.
• Rotating weekday and weekend call; holiday call as needed.
• May float onsite or within 40 miles as required.
• Perform general OR cases if CVOR cases are unavailable.
• Must hold a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address.
• Radius rule applies for local candidate hiring.
