Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel CVOR RN for a travel nursing job in Bellevue, Washington. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days. Start date is 10/05/2026. BLS and 2 years of RN experience are required; additional certifications may be needed.

The CVOR RN will circulate for cardiothoracic procedures, support a team, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced OR environment. Travel, benefits, and weekly pay are offered by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; 2 years of RN experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.
• Travel position with 10-hour shifts and 40-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate the nursing care needs of the patient before, during and after a surgical procedure.
• Participate in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation.
• Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, monitor vital signs.
• Assist physician during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations which could lead to breaches in aseptic technique.
• Coordinate the operating room with respect to sterility, cleanliness, availability of functioning equipment and supplies.
• Ensure the proper handling of specimens.
