Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVOR position in Jackson, Michigan. The assignment runs 13 weeks with four 10-hour day shifts per week and start date 01/19/2026.

The successful candidate will have an active MI RN license, at least two years CVOR experience, and BLS certification. Travel, housing stipends, and comprehensive benefits are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgical Services Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting.
• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week, 06:30-17:00.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required.
• Leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process.
• Online modules must be completed onsite with a passing score prior to the start date.
• COVID vaccine is mandatory for employment.
