Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Appleton, Wisconsin. The role is a CVOR RN in a travel assignment with 40 hours per week on 8-hour rotating shifts. Start date 09/28/2026, duration 13 weeks, and immediate openings are available in Appleton, WI.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and must meet BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements; additional certifications may be required. TotalMed offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS required; 3 years of experience.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan and evaluate the nursing care needs of the patient before, during and after a surgical procedure.
Participate in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation.
Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, monitor vital signs.
Assist physician during procedures.
Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor breaches in aseptic technique.
Coordinate the operating room with respect to sterility, equipment and supplies.
Ensure the proper handling of specimens.
