Job summary

TotalMed RN in Atlanta, GA is seeking a CVOR travel nurse for a 13-week assignment. The role involves circulating for cardiothoracic procedures and providing professional CVOR care to support a physician team and staff.

Candidates should have 1-2 years acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and be capable of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Travel nurses receive weekly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care RN experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care to support a team of physicians, RNs and staff.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Coordinate the operating room regarding sterility, equipment and supplies.
• Handle specimens appropriately.
