Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR travel nurse in Webster, Texas for a 13-week assignment. This RN will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour days, providing specialized cardiovascular operating room care under physician and team supervision.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS/BLS certifications, with additional certifications potentially required before starting. Travel-friendly and benefits provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred where possible.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care before, during and after procedures.
• Provide care for patients receiving sedation and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications, apply dressings and assist physicians.
• Maintain aseptic technique and coordinate OR with equipment and supplies.
