Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 17-week assignment in the CVOR specialty.

Required qualifications include 3 years CVOR experience, BLS certification, ECMO/transplant/endo-vascular expertise, and EPIC proficiency. Preferred candidates have LVL I/II or travel teaching hospital experience.

Patient Diagnoses:Night cases in a level 1 trauma center, we do E-cases. Transplant, endovascular, trauma, and e-crani, and cardiac.Will consider days if candidate prefers day shift and meet skills requirements.E-cases= Emergency cases. Must be willing to learn, float/circulate to all service lines including trauma and emergency cases.Strongest: Cardiac(ECMO, transplant (kidney and liver), Endovascular, laparoscopic cases, and traumaSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:Involve the Operating Room multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the Operating Room in a timely manner.Communicate and coordinate Operating Room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.Special Equipment:Must have experience in thoracic, transplant, and vascular or cardiac (score of 3 or above).Experience with multiple service lines including traumas, transplant, cardiac and PV highly preferred.About TotalMed RN
