Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for CVOR in Temple, Texas. The nurse will provide specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing open heart, open vascular, or endovascular surgery, working with the surgical team to deliver safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures.

The role requires BLS certification and 2 years CVOR experience, with travel and a 13-week assignment from 11/02/2026 to 01/31/2027. Schedule includes 40 hours/week with evenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of CVOR or open heart/open vascular/endovascular surgery experience.
• Nursing degree and RN license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care for CVOR patients undergoing open heart or related procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and advocacy throughout perioperative period.
