MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado.

The CVICU RN will provide 12-hour day and night coverage, with a 36-hour work week on a 13-week contract in a high-acuity CVICU setting. Travel benefits include housing options and weekly pay.

Required are an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months CVICU acute-care experience.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care CVICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer care for patients following open-heart surgery.
• Responsible for the treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
• Educate the patient’s family on the ongoing needs and care of the patient.
