American Traveler is seeking a Travel CVICU registered nurse for a 13-week assignment in Austin, Texas. The role is night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with 36 hours per week and tax-free stipend considerations. Must hold TX or compact RN license and have CVICU experience.

Responsibilities include caring for post-cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients within the CVRU, in a team-driven hospital setting. Travelers welcome; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum one year of CVICU experience.
• Valid US SSN and date of birth required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• Current certifications from AHA or ARC must not expire within first 30 days of assignment.
• Night shift availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit (CVRU) within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment.
• Care provided to post-cardiac surgery and cardiovascular patient population.
• Primary responsibilities include caring for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery or procedures.
• Team-oriented environment in CVRU.
• First time travelers will be considered.
