Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU in Reno, NV to cover night shifts in a cardiovascular ICU. The assignment runs 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights. Valid NV RN license and CVICU experience required, plus experience with IABP and Impella devices.

Qualifications

• CVICU RN with current NV license and 2+ years of CVICU experience.
• Experience with POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP and Impella devices.
• Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for cardiovascular ICU patients during night shifts.
• Monitor, assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality cardiovascular care.
