Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVICU travel nurse in Hannibal, MO. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and supports 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

The assignment is travel-based, with ACLS/BLS credentials requested to manage complex post-operative cardiovascular patients. The RN will work within a fast-paced CVICU environment, performing medication administration, diagnostic testing, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient-family education while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CVICU-level critical care for post-surgical patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and observe hemodynamic parameters.
• Educate patients and families about recovery and discharge plans.
