Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The role requires 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on day shifts, starting 10/19/2026, and a travel employment type.

The ICU RN will deliver critical care, monitor patients, operate life-support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes in a high-acuity ICU setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes.
• Administer complex medications and treatments.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
