Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide critical care in the CVICU, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour workweek, delivering high-acuity patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing changes in condition.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per ICU protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU care and recovery.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols in high-acuity settings.
• Engage in quality improvement to enhance ICU outcomes.
