Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist to perform CT imaging, adjust technical parameters, and position patients for optimal scans. This travel nursing agency offers day one benefits and 24/7 support, with weekly pay and guaranteed pay on travel assignments.

As a CT Tech you will administer contrast, record medical history, liaise with radiologists and the care team, and address issues using analysis and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

Administer contrast material injections.
Record the patient’s medical history before an exam and educate and prepare patients for their examinations.
CT Tech acts as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists and other members of the support team.
Address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge, and skills based on general precedents.
