Qualifications

• 18 months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position and operate CT equipment to obtain cross-sectional images.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, adjusting as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans as required.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as directed.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
• Schedule patients and assist with some clerical duties.
