Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. This role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, enabling you to work closely with radiology teams to deliver high-quality imaging services.

You’ll perform CT imaging, position patients, and adhere to safety protocols while supporting physicians and departments. Travel experience preferred; benefits and competitive pay provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech scope.
