MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in West Des Moines, Iowa. The position offers a 13-week assignment at 40 hours per week, with dayshift hours and travel compensation.

The candidate should have 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state law. Strong independence and teamwork are essential for success in this travel role.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months of CT Technologist experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Licensure is required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position CT scans and operate CT equipment per protocol.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization and controls as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration.
• Dispense oral contrast as required for CT studies.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and label properly.
• Schedule procedures and handle some clerical tasks.
• Record procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment and promote patient safety.
