MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Muscatine, Iowa. The role is a travel position with 40 hours per week, nights, and a 10-hour shift. ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required, with 18 months of CT experience and licensure as applicable.

Housing options and benefits are included. The CT Technologist will operate CT equipment, position patients, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure immobilization and safety.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast injection when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and handle related clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe and patient-focused environment, promoting safety initiatives.
