MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Owensboro, Kentucky. This assignment runs for 14 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Setting controls of CT equipment and monitoring equipment; adjusting as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and injections of contrast, when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images properly.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical tasks.
