Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Claremont, New Hampshire. Expect 36 hours weekly on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits provided by a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Requirements: 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as needed. The job supports independent work and teamwork, with weekly pay, credentialing fee coverage, housing options, and health, life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Setting the controls of the CT equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
• Dispensing oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assisting radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality, labeling, and sequence of exposure.
• Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with some clerical functions.
• Charging procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains safe work environment and supports national patient safety initiatives.
