Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Glendale, AZ. The role runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on a night shift, providing imaging services and patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, administer contrast as needed, and collaborate with physicians for interpretation. Required ARRT CT certification and state licensing, plus BLS, are essential for placement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with CT registration and state licensing where required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Position patients and explain procedures for comfort and compliance.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate image quality and technical adequacy of scans.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and protect patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging history.
• Use McKesson PACS system to store and retrieve images.
