Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Surgical Services is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Augusta, Georgia. The 13-week assignment runs 40 hours per week with nights, 10-hour shifts; includes a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Operate CT scanners, educate patients, and provide care during procedures; position patients to reveal the required anatomy and take medical histories as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CT scanners and acquiring diagnostic images.
• Ability to educate and prepare patients for examinations.
• Provide patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
• Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations
• Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures
• Take patient medical history before an exam
• Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated
