Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Baltimore, MD seeks a CT Technologist for an immediate travel assignment. The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and 1 year of CT experience. You will perform CT imaging, contrast administration, and patient care while ensuring safety and quality.

The position features a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, and a travel assignment of 14 weeks with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT Tech experience required.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification required.
• State licensure as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents for enhanced visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
