Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract position in Ogden, Utah. The role requires 18 months of CT tech experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure in most states.

The technologist will work 36 hours per week on night shifts, under a travel staffing arrangement with a 13-week duration. Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists with procedures, and ensuring image quality and accurate

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs and contrast administration if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label sequences.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical duties.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient-focused, safe work environment.
