Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in San Angelo, Texas. This contract features a 36-hour week, 12-hour nights, and a 26-week duration with potential extension.

You will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, and provide quality imaging in a partnering hospital environment. Qualified candidates hold ARRT credentials, a radiography license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years CT imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (CT) preferred; ARRT (CT) certification is a plus.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
