Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Colton, CA. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, position patients, and acquire diagnostic images while ensuring radiation safety and complying with facility protocols.

The role requires 1 year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and BLS certification. ARRT Certification preferred; benefits include competitive pay and travel support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: ARRT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain process, and position them appropriately.
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within CT Tech scope.
