TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for an assignment in Andalusia, Alabama. The 13‑week travel position runs 40 hours per week with night shifts, starting soon.

The ideal CT Tech has 1 year of experience, ARRT CT certification and BLS, and state licensing where required. Proficiency with CT imaging, contrast administration, safety protocols, and McKesson PACS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in CT imaging.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS required, with state licensing where applicable.
• Ability to work nights and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system.
