Job summary

Medical Solutions Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. The role requires ARRT CT certification, a Washington State radiologic technologist license, Shimadzu portable experience, Canon Aquilion proficiency, EPIC EMR familiarity, and BLS certification.

The position is a 16-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on a night shift, offering a flexible pay package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Washington State certification as radiologic technologist required.
• Shimadzu portable experience required.
• Canon Aquilion experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and performs all examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed.
• Evaluates diagnostic image for technical quality.
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for the effective utilization of the scanner.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
• Performs IV access, using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
• Understands and follows all universal blood and body substance precautions and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Complies with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities.
• Utilizes current EMR efficiently and completes required paperwork for each examination performed.
• Lifts and transfers patients using safe ergonomic technique and utilizes the hydraulic lift or other safe patient handling devices.
• Communicates with the patient's family members or caregivers when necessary.
