Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The position requires 18 months of CT experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, with licensure often required by states. You will work 36 hours per week on a night 12-hour shift as part of a travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Setting the controls of the CT equipment and monitoring the patient and equipment.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule patients and handle some clerical tasks.
