Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Key West, FL. The position requires 18 months of CT tech experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure as applicable.

You will operate CT equipment, collaborate with radiologists, and provide patient care in a dynamic, travel-friendly environment. The role offers 36 hours per week on a night shift, with comprehensive benefits and travel-related compensation through MedPro’s experienced staffing network.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and acquire cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Position patients for scans using immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
• Set controls, monitor equipment, and adjust as necessary during procedures.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs and inject contrast if applicable.
• Dispatch oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly.
• Schedule patients and perform some clerical duties; bill procedures and supplies to patient records.
