Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Machias, ME. You’ll work 40 hours per week on nights, operating CT scanners and ensuring image quality and patient safety.

Requirements include one year CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred. Travel roles include competitive pay, day-one benefits, and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT Certification preferred; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients, position them correctly, and explain imaging procedures.
• Set technical parameters to optimize anatomy and pathology visualization.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in the system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver timely services.
