Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Poughkeepsie, NY. 40 hours weekly, nights, 10-hour shifts. ARRT/ASRT CT certification required and 18 months CT experience. Must be able to work independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of CT Tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Licensure required by most states.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with proper immobilization and protection.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient; adjust as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging, IVs, and contrast administration if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT image quality and label sequences correctly.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
