Qualifications

• Eighteen months CT tech experience in a health care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Licensure in applicable states is commonly required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization and safety.
• Set up and operate CT equipment, monitor imaging procedures.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and contrast administration.
• Ensure image quality and correct labeling for patient records.
• Schedule procedures and perform some clerical tasks.
• Maintain a safe and patient-focused work environment.
