Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role requires 18 months healthcare CT experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure as needed.

Travel position with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and housing or housing allowance options. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, and ensuring high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT technologists, operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls, monitor equipment and patient, and adjust as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs and inject contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label processed images.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment focused on patient care.
