Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Requires at least 1 year of trauma CT experience and ARRT Radiography certification. Role involves ED/inpatient CT exams on GE scanners, with a compassionate care model.

Shift is 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Thursday through Saturday (13 weeks). Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are available; facility is Joint Commission and ACR accredited.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Ability to independently operate GE CT equipment.
• Proficient in performing routine CT exams including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department in a 400-bed hospital performing an average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners.
• Staffed with 2 techs per scanner during the day and a total of 3 techs overnight.
• Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice CT scanners.
• Documentation completed in Meditech.
• Performs CT exams for ED and inpatient populations only.
• Shift runs Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (13-week assignment).
• Perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient trauma cases using a compassionate care model.
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited and ACR accredited in CT, MRI, US, NM, and Mammography.
• Required uniform color is charcoal grey.
• Hospital recognized among top 100 hospitals for cardiovascular care.
• Located in Myrtle Beach, SC, a popular vacation and relocation destination.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
