Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Kodiak, AK. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT CT, and ARRT registries, with 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour work week. Immediate opening with stipend details TBD.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, contrast administration, and ensure high-quality imaging for physician interpretation. Travel status and license requirements apply, with benefits and weekly pay included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT tech experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• BLS certification.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
