Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Rockport, Maine. You will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and support patient safety throughout a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on day shifts.

Qualified candidates hold a Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT certification, active state license, and BLS; CT experience preferred. This travel role offers competitive weekly pay and benefits through SHC.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
