Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a contract position in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves performing CT imaging, maintaining safety standards, and explaining procedures to patients.

The ideal candidate will have an ARRT credential, state license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years of radiologic experience with CT imaging. 13-week contract with 40 hours weekly and potential extension. Travel with watertight support offered.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Aufgaben

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
