Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and any required state licensure.

This role involves performing CT scans, preparing patients, and ensuring safety and image quality according to physicians' orders. You will join a travel team with 40 hours per week, typically 10-hour days, and a focus on accurate imaging, patient care, and proper use of PACS

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience. Must have ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in CT, and state-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography equipment and ensure images are accurate and passed to physicians for interpretation.
• Prepare patients undergoing CT scanning and ensure safety procedures.
• Verify patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Position patients and use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed and maintain patient records.
• Understand and use PACS systems (McKesson) and evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
