Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a high-volume acute care hospital in California. The role requires 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and CA CRT, with BLS on file.

You must be able to work independently in a fast-paced setting and handle contrast administration with strict safety protocols. oy responsibilities include performing complex CT studies on adults across multiple departments, coordinating with PACS and Epic, and adapting to a rotating schedule with 3

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience is required.
• Community hospital experience is preferred.
• Must hold ARRT CT and CA CRT certifications; BLS preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital CT department with 212 beds.
• High-volume CT with 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift.
• Perform CT procedures across abdomen, chest, pelvis, head/neck, spine, and cardiac studies.
• Operate GE and Toshiba CT scanners and PACS/Fujii Synapse systems.
• Work 3x12 hour shifts with day or night options; variable scheduling.
• Chart in Epic and ensure proper radiology documentation.
• Travelers may be considered; local candidates at lower rate.
• No on-call or unit-float requirements; may assist with patient transport.
