Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an outpatient imaging center in Alaska. ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification with at least 1 year of experience are required.

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, IVs, contrast administration, and post-processing, with Epic EMR usage. This travel position offers 4x10 hour shifts, no Sundays, and potential housing allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CT Technologist experience.
• BLS, ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required.
• Valid state license required if applicable.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Two professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years.
• Copy of certifications required for consideration.
• Hep B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted).

Responsibilities

• Outpatient imaging center setting serving mobile patients.
• Frequent follow-up imaging for cancer diagnosis patients.
• Responsibilities include starting IVs, running I-STAT labs, injecting contrast, and post-processing images.
• X-ray experience required in extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Fluoroscopy and enema studies experience preferred.
• Experience with neonates and infants preferred.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• No Sundays or holiday shifts required, though 2 of 3 major holidays must be worked.
• No on-call requirement.
• May float within scope to provide X-ray coverage.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Facility is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital recognized as a top hospital in Alaska.
• Scrubs provided and free parking available.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Local candidates not accepted; address must be at least 50 miles away.
