Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel CT Technologist for an assignment in Hilo, HI. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with registration, and BLS. Travel status, 40-hour weeks, with a 10-hour rotating shift, is described along with a 13-week duration.

The CT Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and operate PACS systems. Additional licensing requirements may apply depending on the state.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients for scans.
• Capture diagnostic CT images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system.
