Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Waimea, Hawaii. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. Start date is 09/28/2026.

You will work both independently and in a team, ensuring high-quality CT imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, and handling contrast administration while maintaining compliance and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast as applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment focused on patient care and safety initiatives.
